This was a record breaking "Top 5" snowfall for most of the area. It was very windy with lots of drifting snow so it was very hard to get an accurate measurement. My measurements varied between a few inches and 4 feet. The national weather service reported 33.5 inches for Framingham so I will go with that. Inititally this storm was forcast as being only a coating in our area. As the storm gets closer the forcast keeps getting updated showing a significant increase in snowfall amounts, then a decrease in most areas. |

18 This storm started much slower than originally preditected. On Thurday morning there was only about 1 or 2 inches of snow. It snowed all day Thurday, sometimes quite heavy, but it didnt accululate since the temp has hovering around freezing. On Friday morning around 5AM there was only a few inches actually on the ground then the snow picked up in intestity and the temp stayed in the 20s so the snow started accumulating and lasted much longer than expected leading to much more snow than what was originally predicted. |

5 This storm was drawn out over 2 days from Friday evening to over night Sunday. The temp was hovering around freezing so at times the snow was quite heavy and accumulating then it would switch to rain and wash the snow away. This switch happened many times. I shoveled over 2" of snow twice. |
