This weather station is a Davis VantageVue located in a residential area of Framingham MA, about 20 miles west of Boston, roughly half way between Route 9 and the High School.
The weather station is mounted about 24' above the ground which is about 4' higher than the roof of the house. The mounting pole is two 10' electrical conduit (1-1/4") pipes connected together with a connector and epoxy. The pole is bracketed to the deck railing posts with 4 brackets spanning a 3' distance. This is a very sturdy and low cost system made from parts that are readily available at your local home center.
The software used to maintain this web site is WeeWX running under Linux on a Raspberry PI 4 Model B. The WeeWX software performs the tasks of reading data from the weather station, updating these web pages, and uploading the web pages to my hosting service. The web pages are updated to my web hosting service and to Weather Underground every 5 minutes using Station ID: KMAFRAMI6.
